Why I Want to Blog
Here we go! I’ve got my Raspberry Zinger tea. I am going to do this...I can do this! Blog writing can’t be that hard, right?
Throughout my week, I read a lot of blogs to learn things; how to make a particular food, how others did their DIY project, or other tips and tricks on living a Christian life. As the new year rolled around, I got to thinking, “Could I blog?”, “Do I have something worthwhile to share with others?”, “Why would I want to blog?”. Have you ever asked yourself these questions too? I thought of a few reasons as to why I want to blog and even thought about potential blog posts. Ideas were flowing. I shared the idea of blogging with a few friends and they expressed they would be interested in reading what I post. Great, I thought. It shouldn’t be that hard. I can do this. I’ll start tomorrow.
It’s been a couple of weeks since those conversations and still, I haven’t written a blog post. So...today, I have decided to start blogging. I told myself that I just have to do it. It doesn’t have to be long. I can start with why I want to blog. Start small. So, that is what I am doing.
Here is why I want to blog:
1. To have a place where I can share and reflect on God’s goodness and blessing. Whether he is working in my life or those around me, I want to be able to reflect on that over the years.
2. To share my life experiences and keep a place to reflect on them.
3. To share yummy recipes and cooking tips I have learned. (So, I can have a digital recipe box.)
4. To share my DIY-type projects.
So, there you have it. That is why I want to start (actually resurrect) this blog. You will find lots of blogs with recipes, projects I have been working on, gardening highs and lows, running highlights, bible study happenings and tips, and much more.
Let me know if there is anything you would like me to write about.
Thanks for reading. Have a wonderful day!
Sarah
